March 6, 2008

Patrick Swayze Has Pancreatic Cancer
Dirty Dancing and Ghost star Patrick Swayze  55, is receiving treatment for pancreatic cancer and is currently undergoing treatment.  The actor Patrick Swayze was diagnosed in late January with pancreatic cancer that has spread to other organs, according to a report in National Enquirer of Thursday 6th March.

On hearing this news I was devastated.  I tuned in to every TV station and that item was the news of the day.  It was a sad welcome relieve to the political news that have been bombarding my tv screen for the past 48 hrs.

These are some of the headlines I saw online tonight
Patrick Swayze Fighting Pancreatic Cancer
Pancreatic Cancer Hits Patrick Swayze: 5 Weeks to Live
Patrick Swayze Dying from Pancreatic Cancer
Treatment Combo for Pancreatic Cancer Has Limited Benefit
Patrick Swayze On Deathbed!
Why does everyone want Patrick Swayze to die?

There were so many headlines but all saying the same thing.  So my wife went out to buy the Ghost DVD, that movie makes her cry and I know she is going to bawl louder this time around.
